SAT Group has successfully completed the installation and commissioning of a major steel processing plant in Poland, finishing six weeks ahead of the contracted schedule.

The project, which began in August 2024, involved the design, fabrication, and installation of over 4,200 tonnes of structural steel across three production halls. The scope included pressure vessels, process piping, crane systems, and associated electrical and control infrastructure.

The early completion was achieved through careful pre-fabrication planning at our Thüringen facility, which allowed for rapid on-site assembly with minimal disruption to the client's adjacent operational facilities.

The installation team of 85 specialists worked across two shifts throughout the project, maintaining an exemplary safety record with zero lost-time incidents across the entire duration.

The plant will serve as a primary processing facility for the client's Central European operations, with an annual throughput capacity of 2.4 million tonnes.
