DE The SAT-AV5 is our flagship armored vehicle platform, engineered for law enforcement, military escort, and VIP protection missions across all terrain types. Developed over four years of intensive R&D at our Thüringen facility, the AV5 achieves Class 5 ballistic protection while maintaining a gross vehicle weight that delivers exceptional mobility compared to competing platforms in its protection class.
The platform is built on a purpose-designed monocoque steel chassis with modular armour panels that allow field-level protection upgrades without structural modification. The suspension system is tuned for both high-speed road operation and cross-country performance, with independent front and rear axle geometry.
All SAT-AV5 variants are supplied with full documentation packages for NATO STANAG 4569 and VPAM BRV 2009 certification, and can be configured for left or right-hand drive markets.
Bolt-on armour panels allow protection level upgrades and field replacement without structural welding.
Integrated V-hull geometry and energy-absorbing seat mounts protect occupants from underbelly blast events.
Reinforced run-flat inserts allow continued operation at reduced speed for a minimum of 50 km after tyre loss.
Independent HVAC system maintains crew compartment temperature in ambient conditions from -32°C to +55°C.
